WAPPA Annual Report 2025
Ratified at the AGM on 3 November 2025, WAPPA’s Annual Report 2025 highlights a year of growth, advocacy and connection.
Membership surpassed 1,160 leaders, professional communities expanded, and the 2025 Paywise WAPPA Conference achieved record attendance.
The Association reported a strong financial surplus and recognised outstanding leadership with awards to Steve Delfs, Cavelle Monck and Dale Watkins.
WAPPA Annual Report 2024
Ratified at the Annual General Meeting on 4 November 2024, WAPPA’s Annual Report 2024 reviews the Association’s significant accomplishments in Support, Advocacy, Connection, Leadership, Governance, Business Operations, Events and Financial Management.
It also underscores the Board’s dedication to strong governance, especially in risk management, and celebrates outstanding contributions through well-deserved awards: Life Membership to Jan Applin and Ashley King; WAPPA Service Awards to Craig Mainard and Lisa Rodgers; and WAPPA Country Representative Award to Jane Salt.
WAPPA Strategic Plan 2025–2027: All Leaders – All Levels
WAPPA’s new, three-year strategy reinforces its commitment to empowering every leadership journey in WA’s primary education sector. Grounded in Support, Advocacy, Leadership, and Connection, WAPPA continues to deliver comprehensive services; from legal support and wellbeing programs to professional development, strategic partnerships and leadership recognition.
Guided by its core values of Integrity, Inclusivity, Excellence, and Empathy, WAPPA remains the professional Association of choice. The plan sets measurable goals to expand its influence, engagement and sustainability.
An Annual General Meeting of the Western Australian Primary Principals’ Association is held in every calendar year. Notice of the date of the Annual General Meetings, together with an agenda, is circulated to all members at least 14 days prior to the meeting.
All Members are entitled to attend Annual General Meetings but only those classified as Ordinary Members and as Life Members are entitled to vote. A quorum at the Annual General Meetings shall consist of 25% of the aggregate total of Ordinary Members and Life Members of the Association in person or by proxy.
