Floreat Park Primary Recognised on the Global Stage
In Term 2 this year, a film crew from Apple Education in the United States visited Floreat Park Primary School to capture how the school’s teachers are building a strong professional learning culture. The resulting short film highlights how staff coaching is embedded in practice, supporting teachers to use technology purposefully so that students become creators, not just consumers of digital tools.
Floreat Park was one of only six schools worldwide selected to feature in Apple’s global Apple Learning Coach story, showcasing the power of collaboration, professional learning and evidence-informed teaching.
This recognition represents a “super proud moment” for the Floreat Park community and stands as a testament to the school’s dedication to continuous improvement. Principal Mark Walters commended the efforts of Deputy Principal Matt Wright, whose leadership and vision were instrumental in bringing the initiative to life.
