Leading Whole School Numeracy Planning

Based around the work and thoughts of Dr Paul Swan, participants will be provided with a framework for developing a Whole School Numeracy Plan. The plan will focus on improved numeracy practices for teachers, with the aim of improving outcomes and practices for students.

Participants will:

  • Be provided with key questions to undertake discussions with staff around Whole School Numeracy Planning, along with examples of a numeracy block.
  • Examine a whole school assessment matrix will be also presented for discussion.
  • Develop an action plan utilising the day's information.
