Leading Whole School Literacy Planning

WAPPA has developed the content and resources to present a framework for developing a Whole School Literacy Plan. The plan will focus on improved literacy practices for teachers, with the aim of improving outcomes and practices for students.

Participants will

• Learn about current research regarding best practice, Istar as a connected practice model for lesson delivery and the key STUFF to have in a whole school plan.
• Be provided with key questions to undertake discussions with staff around Whole School Literacy Planning, along with examples of a Literacy block.
• Have the opportunity to develop an action plan utilising the day's information.
