iSTAR Foundations September

iStar is a progressive guideline or framework for professional learning and teaching. It is a common language that can be used across a school, reduced to a simple acronym, designed to connect teaching and learning practices across school communities.

The iStar acronym:

Inform/inspire
Show/share
Try/transfer
Apply/act
Review/revise.

In this workshop participants will learn:

• How does iStar work in classrooms and across wholes schools
• The benefits of iStar for teachers, students, leaders and the school community
• How to access iStar support for our schools
