Cooloongup Primary School

As part of our rewards program for maintaining good standing, we aim to provide our students with enjoyable and straightforward activities. At the end of Term 3, we organised a special event inviting students to bring their wheels to school for the day. They were welcome to bring bikes, skateboards, roller skates, and scooters, but electric devices were not allowed. The only requirement was that they had to wear a helmet for safety.

To ensure everyone could participate, we reached out to the community for donations of old helmets and bikes. This generous support provided us with a few spares, allowing every student the opportunity to join in on the fun.

The day was a tremendous success. Classes paired up to take turns riding their bikes and scooters around the school grounds. The school was buzzing with excitement, creating an atmosphere of joy and camaraderie. Both students and teachers had a fantastic time, with smiles and laughter all around.

Events like these highlight the importance of celebrating our students’ positive choices in a fun and engaging way. We are always on the lookout for cost-effective and creative ideas to recognize their achievements. If you have any suggestions or ideas for future activities, please don’t hesitate to share them with us so we can continue to grow our positive and supportive school environment.
